• No campaign materials may be posted earlier than Wednesday, March 30.
• All candidates MUST NOT email campaign materials or messages via TWEN e-mail lists.

• All candidates must have their campaign related materials seen and approved by the Office of Student Life and Special Events (Room 341) before distributing or posting them. Materials posted without prior approval are subject to removal.
• Campaign materials may only be posted on locker room bulletin boards, open bulletin boards, and the glass wall located on the first floor. Materials may not be posted on the glass wall located on the first floor before March 30.

• Please refrain from spending more than $50 on campaigning, excluding photocopies.
• Please remove campaign materials by Monday, April 11, 2011.
• Campaigning in Class - Due to complaints from previous elections, we ask that students not use class time to campaign. Telling your classmates that you are running or encouraging them to vote is encouraged, but requesting speaking time from professors is not acceptable.
• UPDATE: Posting anything related to the elections to TWEN groups for classes will not be accepted and will result in the disqualification of the candidate from the election. Candidates may use Student Organization TWEN groups to advertise the fact that the elections are ongoing and the fact they are running for an office. They may include in such messages: the office they are running for and a request that you consider them when voting. These posts may not include any campaigning material or descriptions of a platform. Additionally they may only be made to TWEN groups for Student Organizations of which the candidate is a member.
Candidates Debate
The Candidates Debate rules allow each candidate two minutes to make opening remarks, including a platform statement. After opening remarks, the Debate Panel will ask questions of each candidate. This will be followed by an open floor question and answer period from the audience. All candidates are asked to wear business or business casual attire. The Candidate Debate will take place at a time TBD.
